This petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties specially police authorities to take an appropriate decision on the application on dated 19.06.2025 moved by the petitioner (ANNEXURE NO.1) pending before him forthwith in the interest of justice." We have gone through the representation/ application made by the petitioner on 19.06.2025 which has been addressed to the Director General of Police and a copy of the same also has been endorsed to the Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh, which has been sent by the Speed Post. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh application to the Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh within a week from today. The Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh shall summon a report from the Police Station concerned within a week thereafter and take an appropriate decision in the matter within a further period of three weeks.
