The present contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the direction of this Court in order dated 06.03.2025 in W.P. (C) No. 184 of 2025 with a direction to the State respondents to complete the process of election of new Governing Body of the Royal Academy of Law, Oinam as per Rules of Manipur Education Code, preferably within a period of 4(four) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. [3]
The respondent no. 2 has filed a letter dated 19.08.2025 issued by Director (University & Higher Education), Govt. of Manipur to the Principal of Royal Academy of Law, Oinam acknowledging the constitution of new Governing Body of Royal Academy of Law, Oinam. [4]

This Court has perused the materials on record and it is of the view that with the issuance of subsequent order dated 19.08.2025, the cause of the contempt petition does not survive. [6]
