Application for amendment in the prayer of writ petition filed today is taken on record. (I. A. No. NIL of 2025) On due consideration, the application is allowed. Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to incorporate the necessary amendment during the course of the day. Order on the writ petition 1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the F.I.R. dated 21.06.2025 vide F.I.R. No. 0463/2025 under Section 87 BNS, Police Station Mohammadi District Kheri. 3. The neat contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioner No. 1 and 2 are major and have married out of their own freewill. Petitioner no.1 has annexed her Marksheet, Pan Card and Aadhar Card and petitioner no.2 has annexed his Driving License, Pan Card and Aadhar Card with regard to the proof of age as Annexure-2 and 3 to the writ petition, respectively. The copy of Nikahnama alongwith translated copy thereof has been annexed as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition. 4. Considering the said fact, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the F.I.R.pending, as such, F.I.R.in question i.e.F.I.R. No. 0463/2025 at Police Station Mohammadi District Kheri is quashed. However, directions are issued to the petitioners to get their marriage registered within a period of three months from today. 5. The petition stands allowed with the said observations/directions.
