GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents 2 to 4 calling the petitioner to present before the 4th respondent police station from morning to evening every Sunday by affixing his photo in the notice board under the list of suspect persons as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14,19,21 of the Constitution of India and apart from against to the Standing Order 601 (Old 701) of A.P. 2 Police Standing Orders and consequently set aside the suspect sheet on the petitioner.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that there are no cases pending against the Petitioner and to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner the impugned Suspect Sheet has been opened against the Petitioner. 3. Dr.G.V.Ravi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the suspect sheet opened against the Petitioner may be closed. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Suspect Sheet against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
