PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA I.A.Nos. 1 and 2 of 2025 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION Nos: 2647 & 974/2024 COMMON ORDER: Both the Criminal petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C) have been filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 4, seeking quashment of the proceedings pending against them in FIR No.21 of 2024 of Governorpet P.S., NTR Commissionerate, registered for the offence punishable under Section 417 & 306 r/w 34 of I.P.C. 2. I.A.Nos.1& 2 of 2025are filed by the Respondent No.2/complainant in both Criminal petitions under Section 482 read with 320(6) & 320(2) Cr.P.C., (under Section 359(6) & 359(2) of B.N.S.S.,) seeking permission to compromise the case in FIR No.21 of 2024 of Governorpet P.S., NTR Commissionerate, registered for the offence punishable under Section 417 & 306 r/w 34 of I.P.C. 3. Petitioners/A1 to A4 in their individual capacity and Respondent No.2 appeared before this Court and they were identified by their respective counsel. Copies of their Aadhar cards attested by their respective counsel are filed for proper identification. 4. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State is in attendance. 5. The defacto complainant who is the brother of the deceased woman appeared before the Court and represented that the Accused no.1 and the 4 deceased were in love. The family members of Accused no.1 did not accept for the marriage. While so, they have called the Accused to their house. The deceased woman immediately after coming to know about the refusal of proposal of marriage by the family members of Accused no.1, she consumed the pesticide poison and committed suicide. In that context, a case is lodged against the accused. He further stated before this Court that he voluntarily came forward for withdrawal of this case since it is an unfortunate incident wherein he lost his younger sister. 6. Considering the submissions, in the interest of justice, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2025 are allowed. Consequently, these Criminal Petitionsare allowed and the case against the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 4 in FIR No.21 of 2024 of Governorpet P.S., NTR Commissionerate registered for the offence punishable under Section 417 & 306 r/w 34 of I.P.C, is hereby quashed.
