The petitioner who is likely to be retired on 30.04.2025, preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction towards the respondent to pay the arrears of the petitioner for the period of suspension i.e. from 28.09.1993 to 31.10.1996 pursuance to the communication dated 30.10.24 (Annexure P/7) 2. On the last date of hearing, the State counsel sought time to take instruction regarding the payment of arrears of salary for the said period as the Chief Engineer vide communication dated 30.10.2024 has issued a direction to the Executive Engineer for release of the arrears of salary to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent/State on instruction submits that all the formalities has already been completed and the amount will be disbursed within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard both the parties. 5. In view of the submission made by the State counsel that all the formalities has already been completed the amount will be released within a stipulated period, hence looking to the fact that the 3 petitioner is going to be retired on 30.04.2025, the respondents are directed to release the amount of arrears of salary for the suspension period from 28.09.1993 to 31.10.1996 by 29.04.2025. 6.
