Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the F.I.R. dated 17.06.2025 vide F.I.R. No. 0404/2025 lodged at the instance of the respondent No.4 at Police Station Dhaurahra, District Lakhimpur Kheri. 3. The neat contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioner No. 1 and 2 are major and have married out of their own freewill. Petitioner no.1 has annexed her Aadhar Card, voter I.D. and petitioner no.2 has annexed his 'Aadhar Card' with regard to the proof of age as Annexure-2,3 and 4 to the writ petition, respectively. The marriage certificate issued by the Arya Samaj Temple has been annexed as Annexure No. 5 to the writ petition. 4. Considering the said fact, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the F.I.R.pending, as such, F.I.R.in question i.e.F.I.R. No. 0404/2025 lodged at the instance of the respondent No.4 at Police Station Dhaurahra, District Lakhimpur Kheri is quashed. However, directions are issued to the petitioners to get their marriage registered under the Hindu Marriage Act within a period of three months from today. 5.
