The aforesaid case has been registered on the basis of complaint stating that the co-accused Askok Kumar Pandey, who is Peshkar of the Circle Officer, had demanded Rs.50,000/- as bribe for exonerating the complainant from a criminal case and upon the request of complainant, he had reduced the bribe amount to Rs.30,000/-. In the affidavit filed in support of the bail application, it has been stated that the applicant is a Village Chaukidar, he has been falsely implicated in the present case and he has no previous criminal antecedent. The learned A.G.A. has opposed the bail application and she has submitted that the allegations have been established during investigation and a charge sheet has been submitted on 24.04.2025. 6. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and keeping in view the fact that the allegation of demand of bribe has been leveled against the co-accused Ashok Kumar Pandey who has already been granted bail vide order dated 26.06.2025 and the applicant has been implicated in the present case merely because after receiving the bribe money, the same was handed over to the applicant coupled with the fact that the applicant has no criminal history, he is languishing in jail since 28.02.2025 whereas, the investigation already stands concluded, I am of the view that the aforesaid facts are sufficient for making out a case for enlargement of the applicant on bail. 7. Accordingly, this bail application stands allowed. 8. Let the applicant- Ram Kumar be released on bail in aforementioned case on furnishing a personal bond and two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of Magistrate/Court concerned, subject to the following conditions: - (i) the applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence; (ii) the applicant shall not pressurize the prosecution witnesses; (iii) the applicant shall appear on each and every date fixed by the trial court.
