Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. for the State respondent and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 0209 of 2025 lodged at the instance of the respondent no. 4 alleging that the sister of the complainant was enticed by the petitioner no. 1. 3. Both the petitioners are present before this Court and state that they are major and have married out of their own free will. The age proof of the petitioners are on record. 4. Considering the fact that both the petitioners state that they have married out of their own free will, no useful purpose would be served to keep this matter pending and the investigation would also be fruitless. 5. In view of the thereof, the FIR No. 0209 of 2025, under Section 87 of B.N.S. is quashed with direction that the petitioners shall take steps for registration of their marriage within a period of three months from today. 6. The writ petition stands allowed in terms of the above.
