The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Special (Vigilance) Case No. 08 of 2022, arising out of Dhanbad (A.C.B.) P.S. Case No. 08 of 2022, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(a) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-X-cum-Spl. Judge (A.C.B.), Dhanbad. 3. Mr. Lala, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was posted as Junior Engineer in the Building Department of the Government of Jharkhand and allegations are made that he has facilitated the Assistant Engineer and Executive Engineer of the said department in assessing the value of the building in question. He submits that the said Assistant Engineer and the Executive Engineer have already been provided the privilege of [2025:JHHC:21482] -2- anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 3479 of 2024 by the order dated 02.08.2024 by this court. He submits that the petitioner has already co- operated in the investigation. 4. Mr. Vashistha, learned Spl.P.P. appearing for the State-Anti Corruption Bureau has opposed the prayer and submits that on the value assessment report, the sign of the petitioner was also there. 5. Considering the fact that at the relevant point of time, the petitioner was posted as Junior Engineer in the Building Division and further the Assistant Engineer and the Executive Engineer have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 3479 of 2024 by the order dated 02.08.2024 by this court, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-X-cum- Spl. Judge (A.C.B.), Dhanbad, in connection with Special (Vigilance) Case No. 08 of 2022, arising out of Dhanbad (A.C.B.) P.S.
