Page No.# 2/2 Hazarika, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Shri SMT Chistie, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The complaint in this contempt petition was with regard to non-compliance of the order dated 21.06.2022 passed by this Court in WP(C)/ 493/2018. 3. Ms. Bharali, learned counsel for the petitioner has however informed that during the pendency of the contempt petition, the order in question has been complied with which was in connection with the promotional aspect and consequential benefits to the petitioner. 4. Shri Chistie, learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that in view of the aforesaid development, the contempt petition be closed. 5. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a direction be issued for expediting the matter of release of the arrear salaries. 6. Shri Chiste, learned counsel for the respondents has informed that the process is already on and is likely to be completed shortly. 7. After considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that since the order in question has been complied with, there is no requirement to continue with the contempt proceeding. 8.
