The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of First Information Report dated 21.05.2025 registered as Case Crime No.89 of 2025, under Sections 323, 328, 376, 506 IPC, Section 3(2)(Va) of S.C./S.T. Act and Sections 3, 5(1) of Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021. 3. The submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the main allegation levelled in the FIR is against the son of the petitioners. With regards to the petitioners, it was alleged that the entire family of the accused was involved in forcing the victim to undergo change her religion. The allegations in the FIR are bald and general in nature. Even in the list of accused, it is stated that the entire family as well as father and mother should be implicated. 4. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegation against the petitioners, the petition is disposed of holding that till filing of police report, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners subject to their co-operation in the investigation.
