1. This intra-court appeal is directed against the order dated 16.10.2025 passed in WP(C) No. 2576/2025 titled “Abdul Hamid Kaloo vs. Harkewal Singh and others”, whereby the learned Writ Court has declined to grant the interim relief to the appellant-writ petitioner.
2. With the appearance of Mr. N. A. Tabassum, Advocate on behalf of the private respondents, caveat stands discharged.
3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
4. During the course of hearing, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellant and learned counsel appearing for the private respondents have reached a consensus that this appeal may be disposed of by Serial No. 8

requesting the learned Writ Court to decide the main petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months and till then the parties shall maintain status-quo.
5. In view of the above, this appeal is allowed. The order impugned is set-aside and the learned Writ Court is requested to decide the main petition being WP(C) No. 2576/2025 titled “Abdul Hamid Kaloo vs. Harkewal Singh and others”, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months and till the main petition is disposed of by the Writ Court, the parties shall maintain status quo qua the subject matter of writ petition.
