This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 151 of 2025, “State vs. Gayyur and Others”, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate / Ist Additional Civil Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 504 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. Mr. A.K. Beniwal, learned counsel for the applicants. 3. Mrs. Sweta Badola Dobhal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1. 4. Mr. Bilal Ahmed, learned counsel for the 1 2025:UHC:9521 informant and all the injured persons. 5. Heard on the Amendment Application (IA No. 2 of 2025). 6. Amendment Application (IA No. 2 of 2025) is allowed. 7. Amended memo is taken on record. 8. All the applicants are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. A.K. Beniwal, Advocate. 9. The respondent no. 2-informant/injured and the respondent nos. 3 to 9 are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Bilal Ahmed, Advocate. 10. The respondent no.2 to respondent no.9 submitted that they have compounded the said offences. They have filed a Compounding Application and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. Applicants have also filed their affidavits. The respondent no. 2 to respondent no.9 have requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No. 151 of 2025. 11. The said request has not been opposed by Mrs. Sweta Badola Dobhal, Brief Holder appearing for the respondent no.1. 12. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if 2 2025:UHC:9521 the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 151 of 2025, “State vs. Gayyur and Others”, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate / Ist Additional Civil Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar, are quashed. 13. Resultantly, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 151 of 2025, “State vs. Gayyur and Others”, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate / Ist Additional Civil Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar, are hereby quashed. ___________________ ALOK KUMAR VERMA, J.
