Mr. Narendra Bali, learned counsel holding the brief of Mr. Birendra Singh Adhikari, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Brief Holder for the State. 3. The present applicant, who is 60 years old seeking regular bail in connection with Case Crime No. 11 of 2024, wherein, the applicant has been implicated for the offence punishable under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, P.S. Vigilance Sector, District Dehradun. 4. Learned counsel Mr. Narendra Bali, who is holding the brief of Mr. Birendra Singh Adhikari, learned counsel for the applicant, informed to this court that the charge-sheet has already been filed on 13.02.2024 and the applicant is in jail since 16.12.2023 and have no previous criminal history. He was serving as Class-IV employee in Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam and he already crossed the age of retirement. The allegation was with regard to demand of bribe of Rs. 1500/-, however the complainant paid Rs. 2000/-. 5. It is submitted that the applicant is completely innocent and has been falsely implicated and without following the procedure before trap the applicant has been caught red handed. He submits that there is no any such credible evidence. 6. Learned State counsel have not disputed this fact that the charge-sheet has already been filed. 7. After taking into consideration that the applicant is in jail since 16.12.2023 and have no previous criminal history and the charge-sheet has already been filed, this court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case bail application is allowed. 8. Let the applicant-Kishan Lal be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond and two sureties each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned. (Rakesh Thapliyal, J.)
