This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.397 of 2024, “State vs. Satinder Pal Singh alias Satender Pannu and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 427 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. Mr. Tarun Prakash Singh Takuli, learned counsel for the applicants - accused. 3. Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent no.1. 1 2025:UHC:9970 4. Mr. Jayant Sah, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 - informant-victim. 5. Both the applicants and the respondent no.2 are present in-person. Applicants are identified by Mr. Tarun Prakash Singh Takuli, Advocate. The respondent no.2-Sri Amrit Pal Singh is identified by Mr. Jayant Sah, Advocate. 6. Both, the applicants and the respondent no.2 have submitted that there were private disputes between them. They have settled their private disputes. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. 7. The respondent no.2 has requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.397 of 2024. 8. Mr. Akshay Latwal, Assistant Government Advocate has not opposed the said request of the respondent no.2. 9. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.397 of 2 2025:UHC:9970 2024, “State vs. Satinder Pal Singh alias Satender Pannu and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar, are quashed qua the applicants. 10. Resultantly, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.397 of 2024, “State vs. Satinder Pal Singh alias Satender Pannu and Others”, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar, are hereby quashed qua the applicants Satinder Pal Singh and Manwinder Singh.
