2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 94 of 2022 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 13(A) of 2022 for the offences registered under sections 20(B) (II) (C) / 22(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned A.D.J.-I, Palamau.
3. On 29.02.2022 at 3.00 a.m., Satbarwa Police on the basis of confidential information, intercepted Tata 709 bearing registration no. JH 01AU 1774 near Satbarwa Police Station. On search, 320 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle.
4. It was submitted that though, petitioner is named in the FIR, but his name has come in the confession of the apprehended co-accused persons. It was further submitted that the petitioner is not the owner of the seized vehicle.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-I, Palamau in connection with Satbarwa P.S. Case No. 94 of 2022 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 13(A) of 2022.
