Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to release/pay the P.S.P.. (Uttar Pradesh Police Service Package) amount of Rs.30,00,000/- (Thirty Lacs) after death of her husband under the Dying in Harness Rules, 1974 with the interest of 12% which is pending since 07.08.2010. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 05.10.2023 of the petitioner within the stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the above prayer. 4. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2, namely, Superintendent of Police, Kasganj, District Kasganj to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 05.10.2023 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
