SGI appearing for the respondents-Union of India. The simple case of the petitioner is that he participated in the selection process initiated for appointment to the post of Constable (GD) under Central Armed Forces, SSF & Rifleman (GD). He succeeded in the 2 interview, but, when he was subjected to medical test, the competent medical board of the respondents declared him medically unfit for the said post. It is the case of the petitioner that he appeared before the medical officer of G.B. Hospital where he was declared fit. In view of this, I direct the respondents to consider the matter and again make an attempt to test the fitness of the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to appear before the medical board under the respondents within a period of two weeks from today and on examination, the medical board of the respondents shall take necessary action. With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stands disposed.
