Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the appellants submits that the present appeal has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the disciplinary proceeding that has been drawn up against the respondent, has ended with a penalty of ”dismissal from service” having been imposed upon the respondent, vide order dated 08/09/2025, issued by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Personnel (A) Department. 2. Mr. J. Patowary, learned counsel appearing for the respondent also submits that the respondent has been dismissed from service vide order dated 08/09/2025 and as such, the matter has become infructuous. 3. The copy of the order dated 08/09/2025 is made part of the record and marked as Annexure ‘X’. 4. In view of the Annexure ‘X’, the appeal stands disposed of as infructuous.
