Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the opposite party no. 2 to modify/correct the erroneous name of the petitioner Sunil Kumar in the appointment letter and seniority list and to give promotion to the petitioner in line with the candidates promoted at par with him, in the interest of justice. Learned counsel submits that in this regard, the petitioner has already made a representation on 07.05.2025, a copy of which has annexed as annexure 6 to the writ petition. He prays that respondent no.2 be directed to consider and decide the same. Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has no objection to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Considering the request of the counsel for the petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with with a direction to the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him.
