The present petition has been filed by the petitioner stating that despite the petitioner having qualified as many as seven semesters, he was not permitted to appear in VIIIth Semester by the respondent no.7-Rama Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur. 3. It is stated that the respondent no.7 was affiliated with the respondent no.5-Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. 4. It is informed by the Counsel for the respondent no.7 that the respondent no.7-College has now closed down with the permission of the respondent no.5, as such, no relief could be granted as prayed, specifically relief no.2, whereby the petitioner seeks permission to appear in the examination for the session 2015-16. 5. It is however provided that the petitioner may approach the respondent no.5, who shall consider the grievance of the petitioner and permit him to appear in the examination in any affiliated college, if permissible. 6.
