For issuance of appropriate Writ or Writs, direction or directions, order or orders commanding the Concern Respondents to do the needful for development of land situated at Village Burudih, P.S. Nimdih, Khata No. 26, Plot No. 20, area 1 acre 63 decimals, District Seraikella- Kharsawan as football Stadium/Football Ground, for the benefits of local people who have been playing Football in the aforesaid land for about 30 years; 2025:JHHC:22865-DB -2 of 2- For issuance of appropriate Writ or Writs direction or directions, order or orders commanding the Concern Respondents to prevent the Private Respondents from damaging the Football ground situated in the land of Village Burudih, P.S. Nimdih, Khata No. 26, Plot No. 20, area 1 acre 63 decimals, District Seraikella-Kharsawan because Private Respondents forcibly doing agriculture on the aforesaid land although aforesaid land is a Public land and villagers have been using this land for the purpose of playing Football on it.” 3. The petitioner has a remedy under Section 3 of the Jharkhand Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 in case he or the other residents of the area are aggrieved by some sort of encroachment being made on public land. 4. As regards the prayer for construction of the football Stadium/Football Ground, suffice it to say that this is not within domain of this Court to issue such kind of direction. 5. Consequently, there is no merit in this W.P. (PIL). Accordingly, this W.P. (PIL) is dismissed. 6. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Circle Officer. In case any complaint is filed to the Circle Officer, the Circle Officer shall enquire into the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. 7.
