Present petition has been filed for the following main relief:- "(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the provisions of restoration period as 15 years as provided in Government orders dated 23.07.1987 and 06.12.1990 contained as Annexure No. 3 & 4 respectively to this writ petition. (ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus for restoration of the commuted pension after expiry of 10 years 11 months or at best 11 years instead of 15 years as provided in the G.O. dated 23.07.1987, 06.12.1990 and 08.12.2008." Learned counsel for the parties submitted that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court passed in WRIT - A No. - 5617 of 2024 (Dr. Om Prakash Srivastava And Others vs. State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. Of Finance Lko 3 Others) and other connected matters. Accordingly, the benefit of the judgment passed in WRIT - A No. - 5617 of 2024 (Dr. Om Prakash Srivastava And Others vs. State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. Of Finance Lko 3 Others) is extended to the petitioners of this petition. In view of above, the petition is disposed of.
