Hon'ble Kshitij Shailendra,J. 1.Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking mandamus commanding the opposite parties/concern police of Baba Bazar District Ayodhya not to harass the petitioners. 3. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that despite there being no F.I.R. against the petitioners, they are being harassed by the police authorities solely on account of an F.I.R. being lodged bearing F.I.R. No.0098 of 2025, under Sections 137(2)and 87 B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Baba Bazar, District Ayodhya, a copy of the F.I.R. has been produced, in which the petitioners are not the accused. 4. Learned A.G.A. based upon instructions states that the girl in question has been recovered and her statement under Section 180 B.N.S.S. has also been recorded. He thus states that as the petitioners are not accused, there is no question of harassment of the petitioners. 5. In view of the said statement, the petition is disposed of directing the respondents that the petitioners shall not be arrested by the police authority solely on account of F.I.R. No..0098 of 2025, under Sections 137(2)and 87 B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Baba Bazar, District Ayodhya. 6. With the above observations/directions, the petition stands disposed of.
