This writ petition was filed on 13th of March, 2024, whereby the petitioner came forward seeking quashment of notice No. Au/Adm/GAD/Rec-KVK/2024/22401-20 dated 24th of February, 2024 passed by the Deputy Registrar (Est.), Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir on the subject of mode of selection/ recruitment criteria for non-teaching posts advertised under Krishi Vighyan Kendras (KVKs) of the University and further sought a writ of mandamus for carrying forward selection/ appointment process in accordance with notification No. 02 of 2022 dated 29th of September, 2022. 02. The respondent No.1 in the writ petition is Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir. 03. During the pendency of this writ petition, by virtue of a Notification No. G.S. R. 471 (e) dated 2nd of August, 2024, service and service selection related matters in litigation pertaining to different Universities in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, including SKUAST, have been declared to be cognizable by the Central Administrative Tribunal and, as such, the present writ petition having the subject matter relatable to service and selection is therefore now to be cognizable by and before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar Bench and for that requires to be transferred from the docket of this court to be on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Srinagar Bench. 04.
