Shangreiso, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. M. Hajong, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter has not been rendered infructuous fully on the ground that though the 2025:MLHC:124 petitioner No. 1, is challenging the rejection of his nomination however, both the petitioners Nos. 1 & 2 are also challenging the deletion of their names from the voters’ list. 2. In the considered opinion of this Court both the matters can be taken-up by the Election Tribunal, as it concerns disputes connected to the election to the post of Wahadadar of Shella Confederacy, which has since been concluded. However, Mr. H.L. Shangreiso has submitted that the deletion of names from the voters’ list will not fall within the purview of the Election Tribunal. Be that at it may, the petitioners are at liberty to first seek alternate remedy and are also at liberty to initiate fresh proceedings, if so advised. 3.
