This petition, in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner alleging illegal mining at Gram Panchayat Balrampur Dehat, Tehsil-Balrampur, District Balrampur. 2. Submissions have been made that illegal mining activities are being undertaken at the village pond and the representation made in this regard has not been decided. 3. Looking to the fact that the averments contained in the petition are cursory, and the prayer has been made seeking disposal of the pending representation, we deem it appropriate and therefore, direct the District Collector, Balrampur to decide the representation pending with him/or a fresh representation to be made by the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from the date such representation is made by the petitioner. 4. With the above directions, the petition stands disposed of.
