It is submitted by both the claimant and the Insurance Company’s Page No.# 4/4 representatives that these matters are settled between the parties at an amount of Rs. 24,57,485/-. It is to be noted that the Insurance Company had already released an amount of Rs. 12,57,485/- to the claimants. The Insurance Company will deposit the balance amount of Rs. 12,00,000/- within a period of 45 days from today before the Registry of the Gauhati High Court. Failure to deposit the above-mentioned amount within the stipulated time by the National Insurance Company Limited, the above amount would carry an interest @ of 7% from the date of filing of the claim petition before the learned Tribunal. On deposit of Rs. 12,00,000/- by the Insurance Company, the said amount shall be released to the claimant viz. Babita Hazarika, by the Registry of the Gauhati High Court upon furnishing of adequate documents for her identification as well as the particulars of her bank account.
