NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus and direct the respondents to pay the arrears of salary to the petitioner from 1.1.2021 and treat the selection of the petitioner on par with similarly appointed persons in the finance department of the BDA vide Annexures C and D.” - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23476 WP No. 2958 of 2025 2. The case of the petitioner is that, he was appointed on contract basis in the third respondent – Authority as a Literature Assistant. The petitioner is working in BDA in the Office of the third respondent, on contract basis from 01.01.2021. From that day, he was working as Literature Assistant. But, till today, his salary has not been paid. Hence, he submitted a representation vide Annexure-C dated 15.12.2021. Since the said representation was not considered, he made one more representation vide Annexure-D, dated 20.03.2024 to respondent No.3. So far, the said representation is not considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The learned counsel for the respondents – BDA submits that, if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation would be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider the representation submitted by the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23476 WP No. 2958 of 2025 petitioner vide Annexure-D dated 20.03.2024, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
