Borah, learned counsel for the applicant/writ petitioner, who submits that by filing this application, the applicant seeks the amendment of the writ petition in the manner shown in Paragraph No. 5 of the application. The learned counsel submits that the amendment is required for effective adjudication of the writ petition and that the same will not change the nature and character of the writ petition. Mr. G. Pegu, learned Standing Counsel, Elementary Education Department, appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 has no objection to the prayer. None appears for the respondent No. 5, although, the respondent No. 5 has engaged a counsel and the name is shown in the cause-list.
