Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 58 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 111(2)(ii), 317(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S, 2023 read with Sections 66 (B), 66(C), 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime Cases, Jamtara.

Bail application of the petitioner was earlier permitted to be withdrawn vide B.A. No. 11002 of 2024 by order dated 5.3.2025.

On 27.9.2024, Cyber Police, Jamtara on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals had assembled in the house of Safakat Ansari situated at Pokharia, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons. On search, three mobile phones and several SIM cards were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

A victim has turned up to claim that he was cheated by the petitioner.

It was further submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for about eleven months.

Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Cyber Crime Cases, Jamtara, in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 58 of 2024.
