Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Gautam, learned counsel for the respondent. A copy of the order dated 16.01.2023 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal no. _______ of 2023 [the Indian Institute of Bank Management and others vs. Page No.# 2/2 Amulya Kumar Goswami etc.] arising out of SLP [Civil] nos. 20347-20348 of 2021 has been placed on record, which is marked as Document-‘X’. Mr. Gautam, learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that on 10.02.2023, the Indian Institute of Bank Management has disbursed the gratuity and other retirement benefits to the petitioner and has placed a copy of the said Letter bearing no. 07.05/839/2022-23, which is marked as Document-‘Y’. Mr. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has received the amounts mentioned in the Letter dated 10.02.2023 towards retirement benefits. He has further submitted that as there is an issue regarding the date of retirement of the petitioner, liberty may be reserved to the petitioner on the said issue, by closing this contempt petition. In view of the above, the contempt petition stands closed as it transpires that the direction made in the order dated 16.01.2023 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court has been substantially complied with.
