The petitioner has moved before this Court for grant of privilege of anticipatory bail from apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 72 of 2021 instituted under Section 33 (1) (C) of the Indian Forest Act. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and his name is transpired in the FIR on the basis of written report submitted by one Dhananjay Kumar, Forestguard. He further submits that the petitioner used to reside in the village and do the work of agriculture. Furthermore, he submits that the allegation of cultivation of Poppy plants against the petitioner is false and fabricated and he has not committed any offence. 4. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, I am inclined to extend privilege of anticipatory bail to this petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrendering, he will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Sub- Divisional Judicial ( 2025:JHHC:14566 ) 2 Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Complaint Case No. 72 of 2021. 6. It is made clear that petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation / trial. If the petitioner will not co-operate with the investigation / trial, the State would be at liberty to take appropriate action. (Deepak Roshan, J.) Aditi/Simran
