JUSTICE KAUSHIK GOSWAMI 10.03.2025 (Vijay Bishnoi, CJ) This Court, vide order dated 29.07.2024 has observed that this PIL petition is filed by the petitioners without specifying the class of persons for whose benefit this petition has been filed and as to how such persons are incapable of accessing the court themselves, as required under Rules 10(4) of the Gauhati High Court (Public Interest Litigation) Rules, 2011. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners prayed for some time to satisfy this Court on that aspect. However, till date no material is placed on behalf of the petitioners to satisfy this Court with regard to the query raised by this Court on 29.07.2024, despite granting several opportunities. Today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw this PIL petition, with liberty to approach this Court again with full details.
