The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as many as 14 cases are pending and was granted bail in the last known case on 03.04.2025. It is submitted that the petitioner is yet to furnish the sureties for his release. In the meanwhile on 05.04.2025, the police have registered another case was registered vide Crime No.26 of 2025 of Chilakaluripeta Rural Police Station, Palnadu District for the alleged offence under Section 351(2), 126(2), 115(2), 308(5) read with 3(5) of BNS, 67 of IT Act, 2000-2008. 2. It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioner has allegedly posted some defamatory content on the social media platform, that apart on 27.02.2025 at 10.00AM the petitioner has waylaid the 2nd respondent and extorted an amount of Rs.5,000/- and also snatched away mobile phone of the 2nd respondent. Then the 2nd respondent gave a complaint, the same was registered a case in Crime No. 26 of 2025 of Chilakaluripeta Rural Police Station, Palnadu District. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint is false as there is nothing stated in the complaint, as to what prevented the 2nd respondent from filing a complaint soon after the alleged incident happened i.e., on 27.02.2025. The complainant waited for more than one and half month to give a complaint against the 3 HN,J Crl.P.No.3830 of 2025 petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner is targeted and as seen from the remand report in Crime No.77 of 2025, there are as many as 14 cases pending against the petitioner for the allegedly postings in the social media. 4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police are investigating the cases, though the incident is same, the social media postings were posted in different IDs. 5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the Station House Officer/Investigating Officer, Chilakaluripeta Police Station, Palnadu District to complete the investigation in Crime No.26 of 2025, without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner herein. This would not preclude the Investigating Officer from filing charge sheet/final report. 6. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed off.
