This is a petition by the petitioners, who claim to have contracted marriage out of their free will and volition, for seeking protection from the private respondents. 2. It seems that the petition was filed on the apprehension that respondents 4 to 10 may interfere in their married life illegally and without any justification. This petition was taken up for consideration by this Court on 12th August, 2024, when this Court while issuing notice to the respondents, declined to pass any interim directions. It was, thereafter listed for consideration on 9th December, 2024, when neither the petitioners nor their counsel appeared nor did they take the requisite steps for service of the respondents. Awaiting appearance of the petitioners, the matter was ordered to be listed again. This is how the matter has come up before me. 3. Today when the case was called out nobody turned up to appear for the petitioners. It seems that the petitioners are left without any grievance to be redressed, and have decided not to pursue this petition. 4. This petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution.
