The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent Nos.4 to 8 are attempting to dispossess the petitioners and demolish the compound wall. It is submitted that respondent Nos.4 to 8, at the behest of respondent No.9, are interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property.

2. It is submitted that the petitioners made a representation, which was endorsed on 08.04.2025 vide endorsement No. KKND/SPKKND/080425/00048. It is also submitted that the said representation is still pending consideration.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 8 submits that the 8th respondent has conducted a preliminary enquiry on receipt of a complaint from the 9th respondent and that there appears to be a dispute relating to registration on the property and have arrived at a conclusion that the disputes between the petitioners and the 9th respondent is civil in nature.
4. Be that as it may, the 8th respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioners in accordance with Section 173(3) of the BNSS, and issue a copy of the preliminary report, and is further directed to ensure that the petitioners' peaceful possession of the property is not disturbed without following the due process of law.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
