Heard the parties
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanbad Cyber P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 66C, 66D of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Cyber Case, Dhanbad.
3. On 28.02.2025, Cyber Police, Dhanbad, on the basis of confidential information that cyber criminals have assembled at Madhursa Neematand Jangal, Tundi, Dhanbad, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended this petitioner. On search, three mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
4. It was submitted that no victim has turned up to claim that the mobile phone which was seized from the possession of the petitioner was used in cheating anyone.
5. Mr. Arup Kumar Dey, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid submission.
6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the
petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Cyber Case, Dhanbad in connection with Dhanbad Cyber P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025.
