The prayer in this writ petition is to direct respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 29.08.2024 by which the petitioners contends that their grandfather Bhadrachar was granted 2 acres and 20 guntas of land in old Sy.No.79 and new Sy.No.80 and a saguvali chit had also been issued in his favour. 2. It is stated in the said representation that the grantee Bhadrachar is no more and his son has also passed away. The petitioners therefore contends that - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:16777 WP No. 2659 of 2025 they are entitled to have their name entered on the basis of the grant said to have been made in favor of their grandfather. 3. It is also stated that the grandson of Bhadrachar has also passed away and the petitioner being his wife is entitled to get her name entered in the revenue records on the basis of the grant alleged to have been made in favor of Bhadrachar. 4. In the light of the fact that the petitioners claims that the land in question had been granted to Bhadrachar, the Tahsildar is directed to examine the records, ascertain whether the assertions made in the petition are correct, and then consider the request of the petitioners for getting the name entered in the revenue records in accordance with law within a period of three months. 5.
