Heard. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the police is interfering with the possession of the petitioner in the land in question, which had been purchased by the father of the petitioner from the predecessors in interest of opposite party nos.4 to 7 in 1974. We cannot enter into such disputes except to the extent that so far as interference by the police is concerned, the same can take place only if there is a law and order problem or an apprehension of breach of peace or apprehension of commission of any crime or it is actually committed or there are other valid grounds in any law/ statue for their interference, but, without interfering in the civil dispute between the parties. If the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to the police, he shall approach the Superintendent of Police, Sultanpur, who can get the matter enquired into and do the needful, as per law. 3. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 4. We have not adjudicated the rights of the petitioner vis-a-vis the claim of the opposite party nos.4 to 7.
