Raghunandan Rao) The petitioner has approached this Court, with a complaint that the 7th respondent has married him. But her father, who is arrayed as 6th respondent, has kept her under illegal detention. 2. When the matter was taken up today, both the petitioner and the 7th respondent are personally present in the Court. 3. The 7th respondent states that, her father had restrained her movement from 25.02.2025, but she was able to come out by the first week of March, 2 RRR,J & Dr.KMR,J W.P.No.9238 of 2025 2025. Thereafter, she has been under the protection of the Station House Officer, Ongole Taluka Police Station, Ongole, who is arrayed as 4th respondent. 4. Upon being asked, she has stated that, she wishes to stay with her husband, that is the petitioner. She further stated that, she is 26 years old and is a major, who is capable of making her own decisions. 5. In the light of the above facts, this Writ Petition is closed leaving it open to the 7th respondent to stay where she chooses. There shall be no order as to costs.
