This criminal appeal filed by the appellant-accused under Section 374(2) of Cr.P.C. is directed against the impugned judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 15.06.2007, passed by the learned Special Judge (SC & ST Act), Rajnandgaon (C.G.) in Special Case No. 62/2006, whereby the appellant-accused has been convicted for offence under Section 354 of IPC and sentenced to undergo Digitally signed by HEERA LAL SAHU Date: 2025.03.20 10:28:33 +0530 2 rigorous imprisonment for 6 months. 2. In this case, vide order of this Court dated 12.02.2025 bailable warrant was issued against the appellant returned with a report of Office of Station House Officer, Khairagarh, District – Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai (C.G.) dated 17.03.2025 that the sole appellant Mahendra Lodhi died on 02.08.2022. 3. Learned State counsel agreed with the report. 4. In view of the matter, this Criminal Appeal stands disposed of as the legal representative of the appellant has not approached to contest the appeal.
