Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arraigned as A.1 in Crime No.177 of 2024 of Pithapuram Rural Police Station, Kakinada District, registered for the offence under Sections 406, 408, 409, 471, 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the strength of the complaint of the 2nd respondent. 3. It is averred in the complaint that the petitioner, along with other co- accused, allegedly created fictitious accounts and misappropriated funds earmarked for the self-help groups, thereby causing financial loss. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in no way connected with the allegations made in the complaint and was falsely implicated in the case. 5. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police have examined as many as 53 witnesses who provided corroborative statements regarding the sanctioning of loans. It is further alleged that the petitioner misappropriated the loans sanctioned in their names. 3 6. Considering the allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation. 7. Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed. 8.
