Talukdar, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that, vide Circular dated 04.06.2025, issued by the Deputy Director (Legal), Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) of India, New Delhi, it was stated that the Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (NER), New Delhi is the overall in- Charge of the audit report related to the matters in respect of North East Region. The applicant’s counsel thus prays that the respondent No.5 may be struck off as a party and instead, the Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (NER), Office of the CAG of India, Pocket-9, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi-110124 should be impleaded to substitute the respondent No.5. The prayer of the applicant’s counsel is allowed. Accordingly, the Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (NER), Office of the CAG of India, Pocket-9, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi-110124 is impleaded and allowed to substitute the respondent No.5, whose name is stuck off from the petition.
