Petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to revise the petitioner's pension on the post of Joint Deputy Director in the Higher Education Department U.P. Prayagraj in accordance with the 7th pay revision w.e.f. 01.01.2016 as provided in Government Order no. 23/217/Sa-3-329/10-2017/308/2016 dated 18-07-2017 as well as the G.O. No. 31/2017/Sa-3-524/10-2017- 308(8)/2016 dated 04.09.2017 and to release the payments along with arrears, within a short reasonable period to be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice." 3. Since consideration of petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before the opposite party no.3 i.e. Deputy Director, Pension, Pension Directorate, U.P., Lucknow who shall consider and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 4.
