The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "i. to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to consider and decide the application dated 14.04.2022 for transfer the arm license issued to his father during his life time, in his own name for his personal/self defence, in the interest of justice (Annexure No.9). ii. to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.3 to consider and decide the application dated 14.04.2022 for transfer the arm license issued to his father during his life time, in his own name for his personal/self defence, in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the prayer limited to the issue of mandamus, the writ petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.1 to decide the application dated 14.04.2022 expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
