PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are arraigned as accused in Crime No.15 of 2025 on the file of Revanur Police Station, Nandyal District, for alleged offences under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 79 read with 3(5) of BNS and Section 24 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Seniors Citizens Act, 2017. It is submitted that the 2nd 2 respondent was in possession and enjoyment of 20 acres of land and she had gifted the same in favour of the petitioners 1 and 2 with limited rights to enjoy of the said land without alienation till her death. It is also the responsibility of the petitioners 1 and 2 to take care of the 2nd respondent. It is submitted that at instigation of the other brothers’ children of the petitioners, the 2nd respondent has filed a false complaint. 3. Considering the same, the police are hereby directed to complete the investigation by following the procedure contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, “BNSS”) in so far as the petitioners are concerned. 4.
