08 Regular IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR CRM(M) 754/2025 CrlM(1875/2025) MUSHTAQ AHMAD BHAT ….. Petitioner (s) Through: Mr. Nasir Niyaz, Adv. V/s UNION TERRITORY OF J AND K TH.COMMR/SECTY TO (HOME) AND ORS ….. Respondent(s) Through: Coram: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Dhar, Judge ORDER 01.12.2025 The petitioner has sought direction upon the learned trial court for expeditious disposal of the case arising out of FIR No. 228/2017 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 336, 427, 332, 435 and 307 of RPC registered with Police Station, Bijbehara, Anantnag. It has been submitted in the petition that the charge sheet in the case came to filed in the year 2023 but there is no substantial progress in the case though the charges came to be framed on 18.09.2023. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record. There does not appear to be an inordinate delay in the proceedings conducted by the learned trial court, however, there has to be an endeavor on the part of the court to proceed in the case expeditiously. In view of this, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial court to proceed in the case expeditiously in accordance with law. Disposed of as above.
