The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue class II Legal Heir Certificate to the petitioner by considering the petitioner’s representation, dated 13.05.2025 3. The petitioner appears to be the brother of Late.B.Madhanagopal, who died on 03.12.2007 leaving behind the following as legal heirs: t/ vz; thupRfspd; bgau; taJ ,we;jtUf;F cwt[Kiw jpUkzepiy 1. jpUkjp M/<!;tup 43 kidtp tpjit 2/ M/uhFy; 11 kfd; rpWtu; 3/ jpUkjp B/ju;khk;ghs; 78 jhahu; tpjit 4. It is noticed that subsequently, the petitioner's mother N.Tharmambal also died on 02.06.2013. The wife the petitioner's brother Late.B.Madhanagopal 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.16549 of 2025 died on 15.11.2024 and on the following day i.e., on 16.11.2024, his son also died. Therefore, the petitioner has made an application for issuance of Legal Heir Certificate as Class II legal heir under the provisions of Hindu Succession Act, 1956. 5. It is noticed that the Government has also issued G.O.Ms.No.110, Revenue and Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2), dated 13.03.2024. 6. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to issue Legal Heir Certificate to the petitioner, strictly in accordance with the provision of the Hindu Succession Act, 1956 and in accordance with the aforesaid G.O., and also after following due procedure, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above observations. No costs.
